• On Friday we posted the slam-bang new trailer for Torchwood: Children of Earth. And today the goodness continues with two more bits of great news: The miniseason now has a start date of July 20th ... the same day that BBC America launches its first HD channel. Captain Jack and Ianto snogging in 1080p? More like HSQUEE! (ba-dum-bum)

• Queersighted chatted up out musician Casey Spooner (Fischerspooner) about topics ranging from slapping Kylie Minogue's ass to covering R.E.M. to getting dumped by their record label.

• Above and apropos of nothing whatsoever beyond the coffee that just came out of my nose, a tip of the hat to whichever of the Movieline masterminds exacted their unholy revenge upon the helpless and demure Phyllis Diller with the above layout. Brilliance.
