    The numbers of new HIV infections, esp. in males under 30, is alarming. Some cynics may dismiss Chi Chi's PSA as she's fighting ambitious competitors who are putting out as much bareback porn as they can produce while she refuses to do so; notwithstanding I hope that some are able to look beyond that to see how supporting bareback porn may provide a financial incentive for producers to pay a little extra to those performers who are willing to put their lives in danger.

    Some customers may rationalize that their purchases are intended for the safest sex possible, but that perspective may dehumanize performers or not see them as part of a bigger community. Even if there is no correlation, I know more than one person (over 30) who only watch bareback porn and they are the ones who tend to come to me to talk about their "mistakes." Maybe watching hot safer sex can do the job just as well.

    Obviously the increases in HIV infection rates are not due exclusively to supporting bareback porn, but LaRue is focusing on one important element that is in her domain. Maybe most importantly, the PSA is executed quite well and I thank Brian for bringing it to us here at AE.
