Straight-but-not-narrow Broadway hunk Tony Yazbeck and friend perform at the Broadway Backwards benefit. Come back tomorrow for our exclusive photos and coverage!  (This pic: Getty)

Following this assortment of carefully-selected news items, interested readers can find a refreshing pic of a hot man in underwear after the jump. Yes, we're serious.

  • Lance Black, Cleve Jones and Anne Kronenberg talk to People about what was "a devastating year" for LGBT folks in this country and what Harvey Milk would have done about it.
  • A planned biopic has been announced of East German soccer player Marcus Urban, who retired from the sport after coming out as gay.
  • In a recent interview with Larry King to promote his new book, Dodgers manager Joe Torre said that he wouldn't have a problem with an active player being openly gay on his team, noting, "I'd like to believe our country is turning in that direction."
War Machine

  • Mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter "War Machine" was arrested in Las Vegas after getting into a fight at a "gay but very straight-friendly club". I have no idea if the guy is gay or not, but my real question is this: Do people with cauliflower ear get more action from vegetarians?
  • The two men behind the new Broadway musical The Story of My Life, Neil Bartram and Brian Hill, also happen to be a couple. Awww!

And today's Briefs are brought to you by...

Model Brent Van Zant!
