Christine Baranski

I'm so glad we're seeing Christine more these days.  When she was on Big Bang Theory a few weeks ago she played a character completely unlike her character on Cybil, or some of the other mighty socialites she's known for.  Yet she completely pulled off the cold, emotionless brain doctor to a T - I was completely thrown by her character.  She's a diva, deservedly.

"a gay Nazi officer with a pink pleather uniform" - I'm assuming this will never make it to the U.S. It's amazing what the British sense of humor can come up with.  We get the United States of Tara with Buck, they get a gay Nazi officer with a pink pleather uniform.

I'm thrilled she got that big number in "Mama Mia!"

It's great to have another woman besides Kim Cattrall willing to be out there as an over-50 sex symbol who can wrap men around her finger.  And Baranski can sing and dance up a storm, too.
