AfterElton Briefs: NPH talks unicorns, Marcus Patrick talks nudity, and more!

In a continued effort to bring you all that is important in the world of gay entertainment and ensure that you are being spoon-fed images of gorgeous, commoditized manflesh, we present the newly-minted AfterElton Briefs. Following the usual assortment of carefully-selected news items, interested readers can find a refreshing pic of a hot man in underwear after the jump. Yes, we're serious.

  • Heath Ledger's death has officially been ruled an accident, which is of course no less a tragedy. The actor died from what was called an "abuse of prescription medications" for pain and anxiety.
  • An ad by a conservative Christian group in the UK that reads "GAY AIM: ABOLISH THE FAMILY" has been ruled offensive by the Advertising Standards Authority. Um, yathink?
  • The Department of Justice decides to join the 21st century and recognize their gay employees. This means they can now use public bulletin boards, email and meeting rooms. Sadly, they still have to shower separately and must provide decorations for all holiday-themed parties.

And today's Briefs are brought to you by...

    Gay Aim.......???????

What part of "we want to be a family, too" means "you can't have your family". These crazy christian conservative wing nuts are such deluded, hateful idiots, it boggles the mind. Every single gay person came from "a family". This family was either loving, accepting and supportive, or they were hateful, abusive and negletive. The only people that are "anti-family" are the nut jobs that turn their backs on their gay kids and cause them so much pain and loneliness.

    Conspiracy Theory

Supposedly they managed to dig up some Hippie-Era copy of a "gay agenda" from God alone knows where that talked about how the nuclear family was keeping gays down or something like that.  Even if it were real I don't think that 30+ year old ramblings count as modern day gay thought process.

On the other hand...the next time my cousin and her husband ask me to come over and help work on a home project meant to enrich the lives of their kids (this past weekend it was painting a new rec room) I will inform them that I don't do favors for nuclear families as the gay agenda requires me to destroy them.
