Following this assortment of carefully-selected news items, interested readers can find a refreshing pic of a hot man in underwear after the jump. Yes, we're serious.

  • Despite having been available online for a week and airing during a holiday week, the premiere of Southland pulled the biggest audience for any NBC drama premiere in the last 18 months. Looks like our gay cop will be on the beat for a while.
  • A Twitter prankster (would that just be a "Twit"?) impersonating Jeff Probst tried to start a rumor that Survivor contestants Spencer (who is gay) and Stephen (who is straight) are dating.
  • Pastor Rick Warren last week denied that he ever spoke out against gay marriage (conveniently ignoring a widely-circulated video in which he does exactly that) and just yesterday bailed on a television appearance where he was going to address the issue, citing fume inhalation from his newly-refurbished pulpit. No, that's not a euphemism.

  • Above: 110 families of gay couples attended the White House Easter Egg Roll yesterday, and the entire Earth was not cast into darkness. In fact, it made for a rather charming article about the invitees. The Family Equality Council also covered the event in detail.
  • And here I thought a "Rum Dump" was something you could look forward to if you actually DID go to Jamaica...

And today's Briefs are brought to you by...

This guy!
