Following this assortment of carefully-selected news items, interested readers can find a refreshing pic of a hot man in underwear after the jump. Yes, we're serious.
- Increasingly ubiquitous out superstar Neil Patrick Harris (see above) will be a guest judge on the first episode of Top Chef Masters, a new Bravo reality show about people who cook things that I would never eat and then burp it safely in Glad storage containers.
- NBC's Kings is in trouble as it is moved to Saturday nights.
- Michael Ausiello says that there are two weddings coming on Desperate Housewives and hints that one of them might be of the gay-type variety (Andrew and his post-pornstar beau?).
Toxic Avenger: The Musical
- I have no idea if there's anything gay about The Toxic Avenger: The Musical (now running Off-Broadway) but it's got guys in sparkly dresses singing like the Supremes and it's about the fricking Toxic Avenger, which is enough for me.
- File under What, Me Ironic?: Tom Cruise and John Travolta reportedly looking to remake Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, a movie about two straight guys who secretly love each other and end up voluntarily sacrificing their own lives in exchange for fame.

Kings
Kings
*Shrugs*...
I've watched every episode too, and I haven't consistently watched one show in years because everything now a days either falls into the category of "funny-but-still-stale sitcom" or "reality tv". Kings was amazingly refreshing to me. Could it be better considering the budget that obviously went into the show? Yes (acting, pacing, etc.), but IT WAS DIFFERENT!! When's the last time you asked someone "OMG, did you see what happened on [Insert TV show title here]". Yeah, you might not have done that with Kings, but I was hoping it would be that kind of show.
Now I'm watching American Idol, but only the Adam Lambert parts (I watch another channel entirely until he comes on, then its back to whatever channel I was orginally watching). It, like everything else, is stale as well. Sub-par singers for two minutes, then judges telling me what I already know.....but I digress.
I'm going to miss Kings when its gone. At least when it started it could have taken viewer feedback and become a lot less political and more romantic soap-opera-y, but now it doesn't stand a chance to improve.
I'll miss you possible David/Jack affair....It would have been awesome!!

Me too ---
guess it's just a "de gustibus...." thing! Also can't wait for the flick! Sort of surprised because I thought Brian was also looking forwards to the film with Chris as Kirk. Maybe it was Snicks.
Dumb ole me - I didn't realize it premiered in Austin a couple of days ago and has had really good reviews!
