Opie & Anthony Ben & Dave
here ! television has announced that their gay podcast The Ben & Dave Show, starring Ben Harvey and Dave Rubin, will make the jump to a television comedy chat show on March 7th.
The terrifying, jewel-encrusted host of Millionaire Matchmaker says that next season (if there is one) she'd like to feature a gay millionaire. I think this is the first time in history that I'm actually grateful to be poor.
She's reminds me of an overstuffed Punky Brewster without the charm, wit, and apparently success of any of the other ladies and gentlemen profiled on Bravo shows or maybe even Punky herself. The show might be tolerable if that lady's business were taken over by a drag queen with something to say. I'd even settle for Chris from PR with one of those fashionable cat wigs trying to set up people on the street over this broad.
Hopefully she'll be cancelled before we get to be a chance humiliated in like. Stick to the straights, PLEASE!
On to other matters.... Loved the Anderson Cooper clip. His dorky laugh is endearing. I would have been hiding under my desk so I give him much credit for beeing such a great sport. I'd never seen the clip before. It was long so I am wondering what format the show that he was hosting had. Anyone care to enlighten this empty mind of mine?
After watching this priceless clip (wish we could have seen ALL of the photos his mom brought along), I went searching for other AC clips. His lovable dorky personality hasn't changed from early in his career when he was so skinny that he almost disappeared when he turned sideways. His celebrity Jeopardy appearance demonstrated the range of his personality perfectly, from intense, focused, competitive and cerebral to self-deprecating and self-flagellating when he got something wrong.
there's another version of this clip on youtube here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XE5kNocyL_A . It has a couple more of the photos from his young model days at the end. Including a cowboy outfit. I'd love to see him try on the cowboy gear again. :)
god, why is Anderson so
That Millionaire Matchmaker is scary & boring. Anderson is funny
