AfterElton Hot 100 Sneak Peek: Chad Allen

Every day until the results are announced for the 2009 AfterElton.com Hot 100 poll we're leaking beefcake at a steady rate of a hunk a day (two slipped out on Monday, but we've adjusted the stream). 

Today's fan-fave is out actor Chad Allen, who has transitioned from child star (Our House) to teen dream (Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman) to out actor and bona fide gay role model (Save Me, General Hospital: Night Shift, the Donald Strachey Mystery series). All this, and he still finds the time to promote Arbor Day:

Oh, and he's currently auctioning off his tidy whiteys for charity. Now that's putting your money where your mouth ... would ... like to ... be ...? (sigh)

    Not only is Chad Allen a very talented actor and a humble humanitarian but he's beautiful to behold, too!

    He got one of my votes for the 2009 Hot 100.

    I have a real soft spot for Chad after seeing him in the Donald Strachey mysteries.  He's grown on me.  I hope he does well in the poll.

    Ever since I submitted my picks, I've been getting "voters remorse" for overlooking so many guys I COULD have put in my list.

    Next year, you gotta make it a top 20-no, 30-no, 4...

    Um, or I could just put more thought into my choices.

    Or remind myself this is just for fun, and get over myself.

    since he was on Our House.  I used to buy all of those silly little teen magazines and plaster my walls with his pictures. :)  I'm thrilled for all of his successes.

    I adore Chad, but shouldn't it be "tighty whities"?  "Tidy" sound like a pitch for a certain detergent.

    I was going to say the same thing-I've always thought it was "tighty", not "tidy". But there seems to be some ongoing debate on the matter. Maybe we should put it to a vote sometime.
