AfterElton Snapshot: Your Dollar Menu for the week ending January 30

YOUR CAPTION HERE
As we go into the weekend, here's a handy shortlist of the biggest stories of the week on AfterElton.com. And to get you into a playful mood, each week's final post will feature a pic up top that desperately needs captioning. Each week we'll pick our fave suggestion from the comments and run it in the following week's post. Have fun! Drop your caption ideas in the comments, and check out last week's winner after the jump!
- In this week's biggest gay entertainment story, Milk snagged a SAG Award for its star, Sean Penn, and the awards themselves were loaded with gay moments. The red carpet? Not so much.
- ABC tells us that Ugly Betty's being benched until summer (potentially) isn't anything to worry about, but we're still a little uneasy.
- The Game introduced a gay storyline last week, which definitely has us interested for the conclusion tonight.
- Michael really didn't like the Ted Haggard documentary.
- A man who loves puppies? Adorkable!
- Fantasy Casting: By the power of Gayskull, who should play He-Man?
- GLAAD president Neil Giuliano resigned. But not before they released their noms for the GLAAD Media Awards, for which we were nominated again. (Whee!)
Forbidden Love

- Gay Soaps: Our Gays of Our Lives soaps column discussed Shameless, Emmerdale, and Van Hansis's turn in Dance Dance Revolution. On Forbidden Love, Olli returned from his 3-hour tour to Ibiza, and on As the World Turns, Luke took a break from boffing Noah to help Jade find a job.
- Uh-oh: The Real World's gay JD is shaping up to be a bit of a terror.
- Hey, what are you doing this Sunday?
- We took a look at the 37 hottest guys on (and near) Broadway.
- Bisexual actor/writer Mike White and his gay activist dad Mel White will be on The Amazing Race this season.
- The Flying Monkey was back to answer reader questions.
- Please let's save Neil Patrick Harris from another awful Harold & Kumar sequel.
- There's a gay actor in the central cast of Better Off Ted.
- Vlogs! Mores for Gays tackled Super Bowl party etiquette (get it? tackled?) and Gay in the UK brought us all the latest gay entertainment news from Ol' Blighty. And Best Supporting Vlog asked, "Why is the Super Bowl so much more interesting than The Oscars?"
- We took a look at big stars who have gay brothers.
- Gay director Lee Daniels took home three major awards at Sundance for his drama Push: Based On a Novel by Sapphire.
- There's a Pepsi ad running in the UK that has the American Family Association up in arms. We thought the ad was kinda stupid, but we certainly aren't about to call for a boycott! (Plus, many of our readers thought the ad was fine.)
- Radio shock jock Bubba the Love Sponge unleashed a vicious attack on a caller who dared suggest that he not use the word "fag" in his radio ads.
- And thanks to Brent Hartinger, we had the Best.Gay.Week.Ever!
