• Big Gay News of the Week: Adam Lambertpalooza! We asked if America is ready for a gay Idol. America answered "No" ... well, apparently not this one, anyway. But he may have changed the way that the mainstream media covers gay or maybe-gay people. And new BFFs Lambert and charmingly parallelogram-mouthed winner Kris Allen legitimately seem to like one another a lot, and shot down theories of biased voting.
• Great Gay Summer Movie Hope Taking Woodstock drew a lackluster response at Cannes.
• We brought you some pics from Sunday's AIDS Walk in NYC, as well as the Broadway Impact marriage equality rally.
• Eurovision wrapped up in typically bad-chicken-induced-feverdream-enhanced fashion. And should out host Graham Norton have done something in light of the anti-gay policies and repression of protesters in the host city?
• Greek put Calvin front-and-center (finally!) with a brilliant episode about straight guys who flirt with gay guys to make themselves feel more attractive.
• I didn't think I could love Ryan Reynolds more than I already do, I really didn't. Then that bitch Betty White had to come along and ruin everything!!

• Gay soaps! Our Gays of Our Lives column chatted with incoming Greek hottie Gregory Michael about his newest gay role, and scooped and spoiled like there's no tomorrow. And a last-minute casting switch on Young & Restless pointed to an actor's discomfort with kissing another guy.
• So what is this Johnny Weir Pop Star on Ice movie about, anyway? Maybe everything but his sexuality?
• The next season of The Real World will feature another out gay guy. And it'll be in Cancun, meaning it will feature even MORE shirtlessness!
• Jake's Take tackled hunting bear with straight guys on Out of the Wild. (Hey, I've taken my brother to The Eagle before, does that count?) Plus, Jake talked about coming out in some behind-the-scenes clips.
• How gleeful were we over the Glee pilot? Fairly. And you?

• Southland wrapped up its freshman season with a slam-bam finale and another inch of closet door opening for Officer John Cooper. What did you think?
• VLOGS! Gay in the UK brought us "A Day in Hand", an international day against homophobia that asks folks to hold hands in public. And Mores for Gays tackled gay fashion faux pas. (Pases? Pasi?) And finally, we launched a brand-spankin' new vlog series, Beautiful Moments with Simon Doonan, in which the noted style expert shares fabulous tips and juicy stories about the real man behind Beautiful People.
