As we go into the weekend, here's a handy shortlist of the biggest stories of the week on AfterElton.com. And to get you into a playful mood, each Friday's final post will feature a pic up top that desperately needs captioning. • We opened nominations for the second annual AfterElton.com Visibility Awards. There's still time to throw in a hat or two for your favorites!
• SNL had the gayest episode ever ... for better or for worse. And Duffman is gay!
• So what's with Time Magazine's "gay enemies list"? Because nobody asked me for submissions and I've still got an axe to grind with that guy at the video store who recommended Wild Hogs.
• Cheyenne Jackson was on Lipstick Jungle last week, and we provided proof!

So THAT's how it is in their family...

• Gay Soaps: Our Gays of Our Lives soaps column threw as much soapdish at you as you could handle for one week, and you loved it. Luke had a very big week on As the World Turns, which included a bender and a kiss from his new pop-pop. (Eeew!)
• Battle of the Network Gays! Can Noah Mayer defend the crown against three new challengers?
• Blogging Broadway reviewed three stellar productions from three theater legends.
• The Flying Monkey tackled reader questions like only a monkey can.
• Battlestar Galactica will out two of its male characters in the upcoming bridge webseries. Hint: One of them has a name that gives it away.
• The new Young X-Men series has not one, but two gay characters. Discuss.
• We thought the latest Brothers & Sisters and Ugly Betty were returns to form for two of the most inclusive shows on television (Whew!). And things revved up for the big finish on True Blood.

Boldly going where no man has gone before (we think).

• George Takei got cheeky with a castmate on I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!
• Ten of the sexiest vampires ever. Wheee!
  
• Should we be worried that Connor Paolo (who plays gay Eric) turned down a "regular" castmember contract on Gossip Girl?
• Political column The Big Gay Picture took a look at what we might expect to see from the right in the wake of Prop 8.

That looks like it tickles.

• Vlogs!  Gay in the UK gave us a Brits'-eye view of this week's entertainment, and Sounds Like a Hit! tackled the oddness that is Sasha Fierce.  Plus, The Mocha Lounge invited a gay pastor on to discuss how religion and race played into Prop 8's passing, and and Andy and I learned that sometimes, dead is better on Blood Work.
• A Tony-winner will star in the upcoming gay film Oy Vey My Son is Gay.
• And thanks to our own Brent Hartinger, we had the BEST.GAY.WEEK.EVER.!
