    The Jerry Sanders video made

The Jerry Sanders video made me cry too, Brian. It's incredibly moving to see a grown man get so emotional - and I love the fact that the things he says prove, not just that he loves his daughter, but that he truly understands why it's important that she be treated equally with his heterosexual kids.

    I hope Alec Mapa doesn't

I hope Alec Mapa doesn't play the same stereotype as he did in "Some of My Best Friends" and "Desperate Housewives." Now that I think of it both times he played "Vern" and both of those were Marc Cherry shows.

As one of his constituents, I appreciate the mayor's change of mind. I didn't support him before but think he made the right move here, angering many. I hope he isn't penalized too badly in his reelection next year.
