"The Fashion Show": Your chance to thank Andrew Christian for all those wedgie-free days
Bravo's newest reality venture, The Fashion Show, will pit a gaggle of plucky, aspiring fashion designers against one another as they strive to make it big in the world of fashion and secure mass market retail distribution for their designs. In other words, it's not at all like Project Runway. Not much is known about the show yet (will a Teutonic beauty named Schmeidi Schlum be hosting?) but one interesting detail has emerged: the casting team is leaving one competition spot up to the judging public. And one of the finalists up for evaluation is a gay that we know rather ... uh ... "intimately". Yes, gay underwear designer and Janice Dickinson Modeling Agency day-player Andrew Christian is one of the finalists for the last spot on the show. If Andrew's junk-hugging designs have been a source of comfort and support for you, it may be time to repay the favor. Check out the pitch videos for both Andrew and his challenger Elise below (pardon the autoplay), and head on over to the show's just-hatched site to vote. Andrew:

Love his undies...
...don't love his personality. Was anyone else a bit put off by Andrew? I get that these videos are self-promotion -- why we the viewing public should vote for him to be on this vague reality competition. But he comes off as:
1. Self-absorbed.
2. Unaware that he's self-absorbed.
3. Power-grabby.
4. Not particularly charming.
Now, one could use the first three adjectives to describe Christian Sarano. But at least there's something appealing, clever, and witty about Sarano.
Yeah, Andrew's undies are cute and he's sorta physically attractive, but I have a hard time coming up with one positive personality trait about Andrew after watching this video.
Oh -- and his dress designs (the whole point of the contest, I think) seem just okay.
