As the World Turns/Nuke Update: Previews and pics
We love our readers. And we love the Luke/Noah storyline on As the World Turns. So it should come as no surprise that we love our readers who love Nuke. Over the past few days a few readers have shared some great ATWT stuff in the comments on our recent posts, and we wanted to post them here so that everyone one can enjoy. First, the above promotional shot of everyone's favorite Hot Gay Teen Love Triangle was brought to us by Joseph. Hubba hubba! I honestly don't know who looks sassiest. But that's not all, by a longshot: Anthony D. Langford directed us to two preview clips of tomorrow's episode, the first of which is a fantastic confrontation where Luke drops some serious science on Noah regarding what he's doing to Maddie and himself. I honestly haven't had much sympathy for Noah to this point, but this scene is pretty amazing in how they get to the real issue, and it's hard for everyone. We'll be liveblogging tomorrow's episode, so be sure to check in at 2PM EDT to see these moments and more unfold through the eyes of a batty, sleep-deprived blogger. Just bring a dish to pass... I don't watch soaps at all.. (last time I watched a soap it was the Y & R when the Brooks and the Fosters were the main families, so that tells you how old I am..) but except for the clips ya'll post here, seems to me from some previous clip, there was something going on in Noahs' past because daddy dearest doesn't want him to hang around with 'that crowd' again.. so perhaps this is not the 1st time Noah has been in this situation before?? and perhaps daddy dearest is pushing so hard for them to live together is his way of trying to not let ??? whatever happened in the past be a repeat.. just a thought.
I'm confused. Is it bitch slap or slap a bitch?

i have no idea why, but seeing those pics that you posted the links to ron made me realize who van reminds me of...he sort of has this resemblance to the guy who played zack on saved by the bell. eh, maybe it's just me. :-P

And What Would That Answer Be?
I suppose you think it's been all about Maddie, but it actually hasn't been. Maddie has always been the third wheel in this relationship, she certainly is not the center of this story in any way shape or form. The story is definately not about her and her issues. The focus is on the Luke/Noah relationship and the writers have crafted the story so the viewers know exactly that. There is no doubt that this is Luke and Noah's love story. Yes, Logan did write that piece in TV Guide, but as with you, I'm wondering if he's actually watching the show because what he wrote about and what is playing out on screen are two different things. BTW, Logan has a rep in the industry as being a hack who is completely out of touch so I'd take his words with a grain of salt.

I agree.
I have to agree. They are promoting the story as a triangle, but it's really not-at least not in any sense that "torrid triangles" to quote Mattie herself, usually appear. I actually really like that about the story.
No one's heart is getting broken, no one is being really 'wronged' because they've let Mattie find out before it got to the critical point.
The fact is, as much as I like Nuke, it's not even really about their romance at this point as much as it is Noah's coming out story.
For the record I like all three of the actors, and I didn't really expect to enjoy Mattie for herself as much as I do-kudos to both the writers and the actress for making her so level headed and mature.

TV Guide.com is sporting an ad featuring our trio, complete with a little video and a poll. It's been awhile since I've seen a soap spend time and money pushing a certain story, especially outside of the daytime realm. Could it be they are actually committed to this story?
