Avatar of the Week: snicks!

That's right, folks -- it's Wednesday, and time for us to crown the next Avatar of the Week! (note to previous winners: your crowns were somehow diverted on their way to your respective homes, and have ended up at your local Burger King, where they can be picked up at your leisure).

So without further ado, our latest cardboard-headwear-worthy reader is:

snicks!

snicks won for one very simple reason: his avatar moves. Like cats, we are instantly captivated by anything that moves, and indeed, we stared at snicks's avatar for a good 45 minutes making weird chattering sounds and growling deep in our throats.

snicks is only slightly older than I am (hey, Father Time!) and he has one of those "blog" things that I keep hearing about. Check out his profile to learn more -- but allow me to warn you before you click through to his blog that he does write about the classic girl-who-freezes-to-death-while-chasing-her-horse song, "Wildfire", so you may want to have a hankie handy.
