Battle of the Network Gays for April 24
Every Friday we pick the gays in television who have had the best week and leave it to you, the keepers of the flame, to decide who will be crowned Gay of the Week and enjoy their own fancy button over on the left. We'll announce the winner on Monday, and that champ will reign until a new set of challengers are introduced the following Friday to try to steal his title. Last week you voted American Idol hopeful Adam Lambert into the throne for the third time, and despite another great week behind the mic, he's got some tough competition from an interesting group of challengers. And yes, that is Perez Hilton. And yes, it's a great week for tobogganing in hell. Check them out, and vote for your favorite! This week's contenders:
Vote for your favorite by 8 AM EDT on Monday, April 27. And be sure to check back next week to see which gay our readers have carried to glory! Submitted by on Fri, 2009-04-24 14:36. |

I love Adam
Nuke ban
I know both won a lot of times but they have the most interesting storyline in a lot of time, so come on.
OMG, Apocalipsis is coming, Perez Hilton is nominated.
I have to vote for Adam, i never seen southland (propably takes a lot of time this series being aired in spain) even when the character seems interesting. And i don't like at all the last episode of Brothers and sisters
No ban
Adam only has 5 more weeks for the crown...
Let him have another week. :)
Eric
Nonsense
. . .
Judy Garland is fine, but I was thinking "No More Tears"
But seriously, ok, I have no doubt about our little gay goth boy's sexuality. He's so gay I may have to start sleeping with women because his queerness shames me. I'm not that insane fan on YouTube making video that remind me of Kris Crocker and Britney.
I would really like to feel he was free of the Idol machine, and the marketable little box it likes performers to fit it. Sure, Adam has taken some wild musical chances this year, and I count myself a fan - but I think he's also toned down his freak flag in an effort to win, not that I blame him - the prize is huge.
I don't think he's necessarily toned down some songs because that was the musical risk. He may have done it beautifully, but I think it's calculated to appeal to a larger base of the crowd to to keep from alienating middle American, not pure artisitc freedom. I'd rather he was out and ready to be himself - and I think he's got a good sense of himself. I just find that person more interesting, and hope Idol doesn't process that more interesting artist to oblivion.
I don't need a People magazine cover to know it, but I sure hope that once Idol is done with him, that drag wearing, Burning Man attending, cabaret singing artist isn't gone.
No Nuke
Perez Hilton. Really?
I voted for Adam for that
Meh...
Voted for Perez since my votes always go against the popular vote in this blog...
