Battle of the Network Gays! for December 5

Every Friday we pick the gays in television who have had the best week and leave it to you, the keepers of the flame, to decide who will be crowned Gay of the Week and enjoy their own fancy button over on the left. We'll announce the winner on Monday, and that champ will reign until a new set of challengers are introduced the following Friday to try to steal his title.

Reigning Gay of the Week Scotty Wandell (Brothers & Sisters) showed that he knows his way around a toolbox this week ... will it be enough to fortify his position against three new challengers?

Meet the new contenders and find out why they rated this week, after the break!

This week's contenders:

Neil Patrick Harris for Prop 8: The Musical (Why?)

Cheyenne Jackson in Holidays in Bryant Park (Why?)

Clay Aiken in Rosie Live! (Why?)

To have your voice heard, vote in the below poll by 8AM EST on Monday, December 8th. And may the best gay win!

NPH all the way

NPH is just the coolest guy around.  He is as mannered as Cary Grant, as stylish as Fred Astaire, and as talented as Jack Lemmon.  He is my true American Idol.

I Picked Clay Because He's Newly Out and I Still Think It's a

very brave and honorable thing for anyone to do (even in 2008) but particularly for those inthe public eye who's lives and decisions are scrutinized and judge fro all to see in the mass media. I'm not mad at the media, that's the job. I just think it shows courage to come out (even if you're famous) and we should never forget it.

So this week it's all about Daddy Clay.
