Battle of the Network Gays! for January 16

I'm going to start things out a little differently this week because we have a funny story to share first about just how quickly this poll has become THE benchmark of success in gay television.

It seems that earlier this week big boss Michael Jensen introduced himself to an actor playing a new gay character on an upcoming show, and when his fellow actors heard the name "AfterElton" they immediately insisted that the character HAD to be named Gay of the Week. They'd heard of us and were already plotting their campaign! See? It's the most sought-after crown in gay television! It's bigger than HGTV!

So, back to the task at hand: Reigning Gay of the Week Luke Snyder (As the World Turns) faces three challengers to the throne ... although let's face it, after the week he had, it's gonna be as hard to knock the crown off his head as it would be to wipe the ice-cream-smeared smile off his face.
