That's right — acting against our better judgments and the professional opinions of psychologists in three states, Andy and I are back for another season of shamelessly silly True Blood recappage.
We of course weigh in on the Big Gay News from the Season Two premiere, and also introduce a few new weekly features, including "Whatever, Sookie!" and "I Wanna Do Bad Things With You."
Check it all out below!

You guys are so F(UN(DEAD)).
"Oh! Hellooo. Mmmhmm. Better put a ring on it. Mmmhmmmhmmm." Heee.
"Yeah. With a capital T and that rhymes with V and that stands for Vajayjay." HA!
What you said about SJP in the first season of Sex and the City vs. the following seasons is so, so true. They did it with all four of the girls, but none more than her. And that happens with main characters way too often.
"It was nasty. It was nasty... It was fun. It was good!" 8D
"I'm saaaving myself. I'm saving my ten." <3!
Nice to have you back and congratulations!
So nice to see you both and congratulations!
Wonderful !
"Dallas "

^-^.
I am overjoyed that True Blood is back, mostly because it means Blood Work is back!! No offense to plethra of other talented workers on AfterElton.com, but this is vlog is by far the bestest part of the website. I was suffering some serious withdrawal during the cold & dreary winter, spring, & early summer that this show & vlog was gone. But know thou is back. ^-^.
& i loved the opening & ending to the show. I do believe you people owe me a keyboard; i spewed my soda all over it from laughing too hard. & i want the "Whatever, Sookie" soundbit as my ringtone. Awesomelicousness on a stick.

Blood Work 2: Electric Boogaloo
LOVE IT!!! Loved every minute of it. From the Maylox moment in the cold open, all the way thru the end. I love it all!
Does La Harris really depict Dallas as some sort of Mecca for gay vampires in the books? Homegirl has a good grasp on the concept of creative license then. Having hunted for gay hotties, undead or otherwise (I cast a wide net), in Dallas many times, I can tell you that's hard work. Like mining for diamonds. In frozen tundra.
So, Newlyweds . . . as Snicks pointed out in his recap, Jason's decision to get Up With People this season stands to seriously hamper the bare buns quotient in the show. Any chance you lovebirds might volunteer to pick up the slack, here in the vlog?
If it'd make you more comfortable, I'm sure we could scrounge up some Laura Bush masks for you. ;Þ
Thanks!
wall...
I'm trying to figure out what the hell is on the wall in the background. some weird looking cat animal thingy walking in a forest?
you guys must be huge cat lovers..
WTF is that thing?
I want to bad things to . . .
Hoyt. It's like they put 'em in the shop and tuned him up a bit before the 2nd season too.
Welcome back (and congrats!), guys. Glad to have you around to make an already enjoyable show that more enjoyable.
I want to do bad things to you.....
Does buying a mute button for the screams count?
Ok The award for bad things has got to go to Bill for this episode, as he most certainly was the hottest thing on the show this week. (No Jason, or Eric shirtless).
Glad to have you back. Watched the show online this morning. Got to say I was also very relieved to see Lafayette still around and that they picked the show up from exactly where they left off. Not having read the series I'll let the surprises come naturally.
Can't wait for the rest of the season.
I give it a Seven as well
I give it a Seven as well Brian because we saw shamefully less of Jason than I wanted or expected to see.
Get that mans shirt off stat! A baptism scene? A sweaty church picnic? Anything!!!
Just wanted to say how much
Just wanted to say how much I enjoy these vlogs---you guys really do make me laugh, and you have great chemistry together. Congratulations on your marriage! Hope you have many happy years together.
I've read the books, but am only now starting to view the first season, so I'm a little behind the curve. I've thought about waiting to view each vlog until I've actually seen the episode under discussion, but what the heck, I can't resist seeing what you have to say as soon as each new video is posted.
I'm like a superhero, with no powers or motivation...
Your video is best and funny
Thanks for coming back!
Love ya'll, love the vlog.
I for one, am tired of Sookie's whining. She needs to suck it up and go. Enough already, so for the "Whatever Sookie" feature, I'm extremely excited. Also, I couldn't agree with Andy more, Bill was hot as hell in this episode. My man always sides with Brian and thinks that Andy and I are both silly.
Anywho, congrats on your marriage, and hopefully soon everyone will be able to marry whomever they want to. I'm sending blessings and good vibes your way.
ps- I loved your Target coffee mug. xxxooo
WTF
I've been catching up on True Blood on my nice little staycation, and watching your vlog after each episode at the behest of my husban. He really enjoyed it and I did too, until this one.
I hate spoilers. I like the feeling of surprise that comes from reading/watching a story without someone ruining my own take on a certain plot line or character. That is why I avoid spoilers when I can. Unfortunately, I couldn't avoid this one, because you guys didn't post that you would be talking about spoilers this episode. I'm so pissed. Go ahead and read the books, but don't talk about the characters in your readings without knowing what will be portrayed in the show. Because of your carelessness, I now know what's going on with Marianne. All the wonderful speculation and pondering in my head regarding her character has been destroyed because you thought it would be fun to share a little synopsis of her in this vlog.
It was rude and careless of you and means that, unfortunately, I can't watch your entertaining vlog again until this show is over. I hope your happy.
