Check out the trailer for "Torchwood: Children of Earth"

The official first look at the third season of the gay-inclusive sci fi fave has been unleashed, and we've got it.

Armies of creepy, well-dictioned children! Multiple Gwen-explosions! And a pretty nice snog between Cappy Jack and Ianto, who gets his face scratched (hopefully unrelated incidents).

Check out the video below, and of course keep up-to-date on the Torchwood webpage at BBC America.

Clearly a nice snog

But are we supposed to think more "Village of the Damned" or the late Arthur C Clarke's "Childhood's End," I wonder.

And it's probably too much to hope for that Gwen is injured in that explosion.

Looks good

I can't wait for the next season, and I'm *so* relieved Ianto and Jack are still together (really looks like a great kiss, thanks for the screenshot!). Hopefully, they'll develop their relationship some more in the new episodes. "Torchwood" rocks!

Why do I have to wait until summer??

The trailer looks great.  I loved Ianto's line about being underappreciated.  I miss his snark.

And yay, a snog!

Can't wait for the new season!

Nicaraguanboi!

I don't know why a lot of plople have it against Gwen!  I like her character!  The only thing I hate about the new season is that I heard that they had to soften up the plot a little bit for US viewers.  Why do they have to do that!  What I loved about this show is that at its core the characters are raw, dark, a little cynical, and gray (not black and white).

Looks great

Looks great.

Anyone have the actual air dates for it ? Now I'm going to be wondering for the next couple of months if that screaming body at about 0:55 is Jack coming back from yet some gruesome death.

Can't wait to see this new season, but *sigh* I'm still going to miss poor Tosh.

Will we have recaps from Steven Frank to look forward to as well ?

--I kinda am of the persuasion that it is, and if so, i'm not a big believer that they are softening anything for any viewers, as that is pretty gruesome. overall, though--looks like a rocking good time, and they were even able to squeeze in some janto snoggage in a mere 5 eps! i can't wait!

Darn it! Missed again!

Two meters and she would have been blown to little pieces!

Sure, Rhys would probably have been upset for a couple of days. But once he realized he was never going to hear her nagging ever again he would have been as happy as I would.

Nice to see Jack and Ianto kissing. It would be a shame to deprive us of our thrills.

Maybe they'll show up in guest spots.  Meanwhile, the new story looks like a retread of "Village of the Damned."  But damned if that Jack-on-Ianto action doesn't look good!

"The mountain has wings."

John Barrowman was on my

John Barrowman was on my local radio station here in the UK this morning and he said that we're going to find out more about Jack's past and some of it we won't like.

Hm.
