Chris Evans' mother totally reads AfterElton

Didn't know him (remember wondering who he was on that hot list), Went to IMDB to see what he'd been in (had figured Fantastic Four {well, some sort of comic book type film} from the 'Human Torch' remark) - never seen anything he's in.  May have to keep an eye open for him - also, he's from Boston where I currently reside, so that's fun.

Isn't that the title of the next independent film he's doing next?

It is nice to know one of my fave crushes is sweet as well as hot.  He is the ONLY reason I watched both Fantastic Four movies.

Holy moly! So we watch only Mama Mia? You folk never watched Cellular? Good thing we at AE don't go for the hot hunks! Personally, I love stuff with hot guys in it.

I've had the good fortune of going to the same gym that Chris frequents out here in Studio City.  Let me tell you, the first time I saw him walk in, I literally nearly fell off the treadmill.  And let me also say, he's even better looking in person!  Holy hotness, he is a fine fine specimen of manliness.  Oh, and Ryan Carnes used to be a trainer there as well, until his career took off with Desperate Housewives.  Love my little gym.  ;)

As for Chris's movies, I would second the recommendation of Cellular.  Very fast-paced action-thriller that was surprisingly good.  And Chris has his shirt off in a scene or two...

Also, of course, Not Another Teen Movie, where Chris had his breakthru performance and gained a legion of gay fans with the naked banana scene.  Movie is an absolute riot.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed Sunshine, a scifi movie where he's part of an astronaut team trying to save the sun, though it can be somewhat slow.  And he's absolutely adorable in The Nanny Diaries, though the movie itself was rather mediocre.

For a second I was getting ready to read some snide remark made by Evan's mother about this site, but sadly its a light article about Chris's hottness...

And his brother is super gorgeous!  I hope he can find better work than 10 seconds in a sci-fi show.

I just saw that Chris' brother Scott was an extra on Fringe and man, he is hot too just like his brother. <3

I don't know, though.... Reading this news blurb on IMDB this morning, I thought Evans sounded a little bit like a jerk, frankly.

Fantastic Four star Chris Evans is forced to avoid nights out with his gay brother - in case the press begin to speculate about his own sexuality.

The actor's younger brother, Scott, is openly homosexual, and often asks the star to join him on outings to gay bars.

But Evans admits he is forced to decline the invitations, because he fears a photograph of him at a gay club would spark rumours which would haunt him for ever.

He says, "I'm down with the gays. Mostly I'm hanging out with (my brother) and his gay buddies, who are f**king hilarious. They're the funniest people I know. They've invited me out to gay bars before, and I said, 'Look, guys, I've got to draw the line there.' That's where a photo will get taken, it will run in magazines, and before you know it, I'll be living down the gay rumour for the rest of my life."
