"The Daily Show" tackles "Gays vs. Blacks" in the wake of Prop 8

Last night The Daily Show tackled the recent flurry of discussion about how race contributed to the passage of Proposition 8 by bringing Senior Black Correspondent Larry Wilmore out to discuss whether homophobia is more rampant in the black community.

It's pretty funny, particularly Wilmore's argument that there are actually no gay black people and the idea that gays need to work harder to make straights comfortable by "easing them into" the idea of gay people, like they did with Oprah, Urkel, Sidney Poitier, and other "Starter Negroes".  

What, didn't Paul Lynde, Liberace and that gay genie from the Hanna-Barbera cartoons count? "Yabble-dabble!"
