Dempsey: Washington is a changed man

It's been a while since we heard anything about the Isaiah Washington situation, but recently Patrick Dempsey (to whom Washington actually used the F-word in reference to co-star T.R. Knight) has said that he thinks that Washington is a "deeply changed man" as a result of the experience. Dempsey continues:

"I haven't spent enough time around him to honestly know what's going on with him... (but) you do have a feeling, when you look at him, that something is different, and that he is working on things."

That's encouraging news, if it is indeed the case -- Washington does deserve the opportunity to earn the forgiveness of his colleagues, and these talented folks could very well work through this and turn the focus back to making a great show. Let's hope that we hear more positive news in the coming weeks.

Heck, with this news and the change of policy at the Magic Kingdom, this is shaping up to be a great weekend!
