- Lance Bass apparently noted recently that he had once thought fellow Syncer Justin Timberlake might have been gay because of his career ambitions: "We thought Justin was gay, because he told us he wanted to do a gay part in a movie." Then again, the same source refers to his bandmate as "Chris Fitzpatrick" (it's Kirkpatrick), so you never know...
- You've seen fashion expert and Jonathan Adler hubby Simon Doonan pop up on Best Week Ever, Top Model, and more, but chances are you haven't seen him like this ... (warning: NSFW if you work in a place where hilariously bad drag is against company policy)
- Queer Eye's Carson Kressley will be one of the judges on a new mother-daughter pageant reality show called Crowned. Other titles considered include Not Without My Second Chance at Happiness, Stop Or My Mom Will Wave, and Gastineau Girls.
- Finally! At noon today the official Daily Show website will launch, featuring nearly the entire video archive of the past nine years. Sorry, Craig Kilborn fans ... maybe next year.
- Whether you know her as Grizabella or the missing Walker matriarch or "that kind of lesbian-ish gym teacher who gets cut in half in Carrie," Betty Buckley will be performing this Saturday at Town Hall in NYC.

Daily Show - Gaydar
Day of Disappointment
Now we know why Justin Timberlake left N'Sync; because Lance revealed he was gay. Lance came out to his friends in 2004, the same year Justin left the band. Lance also said that Britney Spears has not talked to him since he revealed he was gay in January 2004. In the last couple months I have become increasingly suspicious of Britney Spears and her stance toward gay people. Last month in preparations for her VMA performance she refused to have Ken Taylor, a gay hairstylist, work on her hair weave telling him to leave so his two female assistants can do it. Marc Anthony who used to be a friend of Lance has disassociated himself from him as well.
Yesterday I watched The View because I wanted to know what was going on with Iggy, Ellen's adoptive dog and that show comes on before The View. The co-hosts on The View got into a discussion about whether being gay is genetic or not. This is the umteenth time they had this discussion. Sherri Sheppard revealed that she passed around a petition asking for signatures to ban gay marriage in her community. Sherri Sheppard got her start in entertainment by doing comedy in West Hollywood in the early 90's. Gay marriage has become a heated topic only in the last eight years. So this petition obviously came after she had earned money and a reputation from gay people. One of her gay friends was sent this petition and he contacted her crying. Apparently it said some really horrible things about gay people. Joy and Whoopi proved why I like them. They both agreed that sexuality is genetic.
Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, Marc Anthony, and Sherri Shepard are on my shit list.
