Get Horrible! "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" Chapter 1 now online ... kinda
Update: Looks like it's back up, but the clip isn't embeddable, so head on over to the official site to enjoy! After long last, the first chapter of Joss Whedon's webseries Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, starring Neil Patrick Harris at the titular meanie, was released today. And guess what? It's awesome. No surprise, the site crashed around 10AM Eastern and has been pretty much down since. Such is the combined draw of Hollywood's favorite gay singing television doctor and the creator of Buffy the Vampire Slayer! okay - so i keep my money and just watch it online - and I love it :-)
(and now I will go and rewatch it at least 5 times until I get everything they say and sing... )
Truly Awesomeness!
I watched it (several times!) this morning before the site crashed - it is truly whedonly-deliciousness!! NPH is hysterical, and so dead-on as Dr. Horrible. And Nathan Fillion is beyond wonderful as Captain Hammer. Woof!
Hopefully they will get their access issues resolved soon so the rest of you can enjoy it.

First thing I did when I woke up this morning was watch Dr. Horrible and all of it's awesomeness. It's going to be, wait for it... legen...dary!
NPH is a comedic god and his singing voice is oh so lovely. Nathan Fillion's wearing the tightest shirt and his nipples are dying to come out, he's as usual, hot business. Felicia Day is adorable and the palest thing EVER! It's funny, it's musical, and even surprisingly emotional.
Don't wait for the site to be back up, download it on iTunes now and suck it up. It's sooooo worth the money.
I cannot wait for the Comic-Con panel for this next week. NPH watch out!
What the Hell?
I knew it
I read an interview with Joss Whedon where a journalist wondered if he was worried the site would crash. Whedon passed it off, noting that they had two massive servers so it wouldn't be a problem. But I knew it would crash. I just knew it. Its Whedon and NPH for free. How could it not crash? Anyway, I live on the west coast so I watched it around 9:30pm last night. And yes, its awesome. I can't get Neil's first song out of my head. Its really cute.
Update: I just watched Act II. It's even better than Act I. And Damn, NPH can act (and sing). Amazing.
Whateeeever
It was pure brilliance - but then, Joss Whedon, what should be expected?
NPH, Fillian, and Felicia Day were amazing. The true winner of the show though, was Doctor Horrible's "Whateeever" near the end.

All 3 parts of Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog have now been posted online. They'll be available for free viewing till midnight Sunday July 20th only.
All I can say is... NPH is awesome!
