Flaming Politics video blog (Episode 10): Q&A with Japhy

Japhy is off spelunking in Utah this week (no, that's not a euphemism), so for this installation of Flaming Politics he foregoes the usual current events talk and focuses exclusively on viewer questions. The queries range in seriousness from "how do you define Independent" to ... well, you'll have to see just how bizarre they get.

Check it all out after the break!

I swear I had something intelligent to say

But I was overcome with giggles when you told how you were forced from being a lefty to a righty. I've heard of people being smacked on the knuckles, but never "the power of the felt heart compels you!"

Keep up the good work on your video column, and I hope the spelunking was fun. (I've always wanted to do that, which is also not a euphemism.)

Still "a gauche" after all these years

"It takes a village (to make Village People)"

I had a teacher in third grade who tried to force me to switch hit. (She delighted in humiliating me by having me write "a droite" on the chalkboard.)  It didn't take.  To this day, I write and eat with my left hand, but, because all my role models were right-handed, I learned to do practically anything athletic with my right hand.  Even when it came to playing guitar, I learned right-handed.  It was a relief to see Paul McCartney playing with his left, but it came too late for me!
