"Forbidden Love" video clip update: A minute with Christian
... Which is literally all we got on Monday's episode, as Christian dropped by Judith's construction site to share some relationship advice with her regarding her love triangle. It's not much, but with Christian doing his best Cary Elwes look, it's worth it ... and it's of course a nice turnaround to see the gay guy giving relationship advice to the straight characters. Quiet Moments
I do so love how, even when Olli and Christian aren't together onscreen, and the plot/story-arc doesn't focus on their relationship, the writers still take the time to give us a few subtle nods to remind us of how much in love the boys are.
Like how Christian gives Judith advice by reminding her that Olli waited for him to come around and realize his feelings; and snaps her out of that funk/daydream/zoning-out by dangling the keychain Olli gave him (as a good-luck charm) in front of her face.
And when they ARE together onscreen, and the story still isn't theirs, they share loving (occassionally smoldering!) looks, friendly physical contact and comfortable silences (I think THAT familiarity is what I'd like to see most from Nuke on ATWT).
It's the kind of thing that REAL couples do.
So, even when there isn't a sexy or romantic clip of them, we never forget that they are in love...
The usual thing about soaps is,
Step 1.) Couples comes together (always problems included) => big coverage
Step 2.) Couple being happy together => little coverage
Step 3.) Couple having some problems, but still (happy) together => more coverage
Step 4.) Couple having big problems/break-up => big coverage
Ollian are at step 2.) at the moment, when Christian's outing comes up they'll get to step 3.)
I hope step 4.) is never gonna happen!!!!^^
Yes, I loved that little
Yes, I loved that little touch of having Christian with the lucky charm that Olli gave him on his keychain. And that was so lovely hearing the little advice he gave to Judith to just give herself time like Olli gave him. It's obvious that Christian lives and breathes Olli and i'm sure it's the same with how Olli feels about Christian.
Fab...Olli and Chrisitan are going to be that super rare couple that WILL survive those 4 steps to seperations which you lay out so well and unfortunately so true.
