Award-winning country music revue in NYC

Three openly gay musicians (Scott Coulter, Tom Andersen and Tim Di Pasqua) will perform their award-winning show, Southern Comfort: A Down-Home Country Music Jamboree, on Friday, July 27 and Aug. 3 at The Metropolitan Room in NYC.

Country music is not generally the first genre to be associated with gay folks, which of course doesn't mean that there aren't lots of gay country music fans or that gay artists don't bring a lot to the form. In fact, these three received the 2007 Nightlife Award for Outstanding Revue earlier this year -- and the award was presented to them by country legend Larry Gatlin.

The fellas perform country hits from Vince Gill, k.d. lang, Alan Jackson, Dolly Parton, George Jones, and others.
