New video blog: Gay in the UK

We're thrilled to unleash our first vlog from parts overseas, the Gay in the UK video blog. Each week Tim and Ryan (who are both gay and in the UK, we're assured) will take us on a tour of gay entertainment news in their charming homeland as well as provide a decidedly British take on gay goings-on over here. Plus, the weekly Wino Award!

    I love that you talked about the show and its gay undertones. Merlin and Arthur are so in love with each other, it's hilarious.. :D The show is so cheesy, but SO much fun!

     

    Also: Beautiful People is incredibly amazing! I hope it comes back for a second season!

    I love everything about everything about everything about the UK, so I was sooo glad to see this new blog, and will definitely look forward to seeing you guys every week.

    With that said, love the blog, too cute, love the accents (OF COURSE), and luv the WINO awards.

    my fascination with everything UK will have me tuning in again.

    ...what's the woman's name who was caught shoplifiting? i couldn't make it out.

    pft, it boggles my mind that someone who has more money than most of us feels they have to shoplift.

    as for fish and chips...i just went on wikipedia to actually see what it looked like...my own mental picture of it was way off base....but with that said, it looks good. :-)

    The girl caught shoplifting is Peaches Geldorf, full name:

    Peaches Honeyblossom Michelle Charlotte Angel Vanessa Geldorf Drummey 

    She's the 19-year-old, recently married daughter of Irish musician Bob Geldorf of the Boomtown Rats. Yes, as with many Hollywood celebs' children, too much money and too little sense.

    I LOVE this blog. I consider myself something of an anglophile (which I think can get me arrested in 30 states)but I digress. Little Britain America was a letdown for me and most of the people I talked with.  I so totally agree about Beautiful People. It was a great show and I have searched and downloaded all 6 episodes(Kylie cracks me up) . The fact that Dan Gillespie Sells ( whom I have a huge crush on) did the theme tune didn't hurt.  I would love to hear your opinion on Nevermind the Buzzcocks and Simon Amstell. It is another of my favorite shows from the UK. Keep up the good work I cannot wait to hear more from the two of you.

    I met Dan in a club one time ^_______^ I gotsed a photo with him. and I love that song, i really want to own it but the track is only avaible as an album it seems, Kylie is the best characetr

    Very adorable, guys.  How about some props to new YouTube postings that we should be aware of coming from your side of the pond?  Of course, I'm really just hoping to see as much of John Barrowman on the morning chat shows as possible and don't have time time to keep up with them all myself.

    LGB yes, but not T. Indeed, I'm surprised you mention the Stonewall awards without mentioning the protests against them by trans groups for nominating a transphobic writer for an award. More details about the demos and the lbackground here:

    Still, at least Stonewall took their name from an event involving respectable, mainstream gays rather than drag queens and the like. Oh, wait....
