George Clooney gives the Sexiest Response to Prop 8 Alive

Okay, there's actually nothing sexy about any of this. But the famously smooth actor spoke to Ted Casablanca from E! recently about the California Supreme Court's upholding of Proposition 8, and his comment is every bit the velvety-rich scoop of dreamy that one would expect:

At some point in our lifetime, gay marriage won't be an issue, and everyone who stood against this civil right will look as outdated as George Wallace standing on the school steps keeping James Hood from entering the University of Alabama because he was black.

At which point Ted, his phone, a nearby fire hydrant and half of the Jamba Juice across the street melted into a pool of hot, expensively-cologned lava. We'll of course reserve comment until tomorrow, when Matt Damon is expected to issue an even sexier statement ... but in the meantime, big ups to Clooney for his support.

Is it my imagination...

Or do we have a lot of hot guys on the pro-equality side? Clooney, Pitt, Rob Thomas, Ashton Kutcher...

I mean, name one guy opposed to gay marriage who's remotely doable?

(And yes, I know this an incredibly shallow observation. Doesn't necessarily mean it ain't true.)

umm...

i am really surprised nobody here reported about this when he FIRST said it:
