The Heidi Chronicles (5.06): Chris March dishes on the drag challenge
John and Colin were away this week, so they enlisted the help of some guy named "Brian" from some site called "AfterElton.com" to man this week's Heidi Chronicles vlog. Lucky for us, the novice anchor had the considerable assistance of Project Runway Season 4 vet Chris March, who stopped by to dish on all things dragtastic in the wake of last week's Very Special Drag Queen Episode. The two discuss the show, the contestants, the do's and don'ts of drag, lawnmower manscaping, the "balls or vajayjay" genius of Terri, and much more. Check it out, after the break! Brian, I have just one question....
Is there nothing Brian Juergens can't do?
He churns out article after article after brilliant article the way Matthew Mitcham pops out perfect dives from the platform; he designs a line of cards for the Concerned Women of America; he has mad interview skills for print articles; he has boundless imagination for different kinds of content; and now we find out he's a peerless TV interviewer as well.
Brian, you need to find yourself a regular subject for a vlog -- because you obviously don't have enough to do -- we want to see more of what you showed us in the interview with the lovely Chris March. (And, snicks, you're right -- he needs to show the guns as much as possible. Use everything you got, honey!)
That's very kind
Chris is fabulous
Great interview :)
I love Chris March. He was wonderful last season and I was stoked that he came back to do a drag challenge. Looking at his website, it's obvious that he's extremely talented and this interview shows that he is a lovely guy with a quick mind.
Speaking personally, while I've never really done drag myself, the campiness and subversiveness of it was a big part of my early gay years. It would be interesting (imo) to hear more about how drag has changed over the past couple of decades, as (and excuse my lack of precise terminology) gender-changing (?) has become more available and accepted.
Anyway, thanks for having him and thank you for asking such a wonderful interview.
