Homophonic video blog (Ep. 3): Telling on Trixie

This week on Homophonic, Alex is joined on his comfy couch by Derek Nicoletto, the out lead singer of the band Telling on Trixie.

Twelve short months after their first release, Trixie has amassed thousands of fans, two widely-screened videos (featuring two reality competition fan-faves), and dozens of spots on TV for their music. Just a scant few hours before hopping a plane to the band's next big gig, lead singer Derek takes time out to look back on an amazing year in music.

Derek also treats us to a Homophonic Exclusive: a behind-the-scenes commentary of the band's most recent video, "Orion's Light".

    I would love to be on that couch with him and Alex!  They are so funny together.  I feel like they should host a show together.

    Wasn't that fun, Cleveringa26? It was so cool of Derek to stop by the couch before his flight to Cincy.

    Lee: Are you paying attention? I'm thinking a new show like "The Derek and Alex Super Happy Fun Deluxe Hour...now with 100% more Baby!"

    you did leave your clothes on this time... but there's an interesting bulge in your pants that i can't help but notice.... even when your fully clothed you still look hot alex!... oh... and band is interesting, too... :-)

    i think even the computer agrees for it double posted my comment above... have to edit it cause i can't erase a comment.... anyway... i do hope you can have a chance to interview levi kreis and eric himan.... they are both wonderful out singers.... and i heard antony and the johnsons are going to have a new album!!! hope you can interview antony hegarty too... he is so talented....

    I agree about Eric, I really love his music and he is almost as hot as Alex.

    BTW I never noticed the bulge... *rolleyes* Who am I kidding? That's the first thing I saw.

    What a beautiful video! Such a fun interview too! Love the music, a real deep and meaningful sound and produced with pure class.. Again we are given some real insight to the people who, thank God! are providing us with so much more than the commercial Britney crap we get rammed down our throats these days. More hot boys, more gorgeous girls and more real talent. 

    Alex, I must admit I'm a little jealous that I never get that close to you on the couch! Well done Derek.. hats off to you darling..

    As for the bulge, I don't think it was the camera.. who are you kidding?
