Is Ricky Martin coming out as bi without the help of "People en Espanol"?

I have nothing against Ricky Martin. I actually admire his energy and think he looks pretty cute these days, with the youthful haircut and the babies and all. But what is he doing lately that's getting him cover stories on Latin magazines? Is he still putting out records or something?

There are signs that Mr. Martin's latest feature (in TVaqui) might have something to do with the pop star's possible decision to speak to the long-standing rumors about his sexuality. According to a twitter feed attributed to the magazine:

"Ricky Martin talked to TVaqui and accepted his heart to could belong to a male or female, more in our next issue."

Interesting also to see that the mag also made a slight tweak to their tweet:

Okay granted, there may be a lost-in-translation issue here, but that's pretty suspect-sounding to me in terms of a big "coming out!" story, as many are seeing it. "Accepted his heart could belong to a male or female"? That sounds like Ricky got tired of knocking away a belligerent reporter's thinly-veiled insinuations about his sexuality and agreed in a hypothetical sense that he could fall in love with either gender. Either that or the pullquote was from a completely unrelated discussion of organ harvesting.

Either way, we'll have to rush out to the newsstand for the next issue to see what the hell all the fuss is about, and wonder aloud why on Earth anyone would come out without the invaluable assistance of People Magazine.
