Lance Bass on "Tyra" turns into Lance Bass on Tyra

Lance Bass's Best Gay Year Ever Media Jamboree continued yesterday with a visit to the Tyra Banks Show and once again proved an affable and well-spoken young gay man. I really can't imagine what it would have been like to turn on the television and see someone like Bass talking about his sexuality and coming out on a talk show as opposed to, say, scrapping gay couples on Jerry Springer or whatnot.

Tyra, as usual, brings the ridiculous with comments about how ironic it is that the gay guy in the band sang bass (as opposed to soprano, like most sissies apparently do) and questions about whether Lance slept with girls and all that. Later, Ty gets Bass to admit he had a crush on her and then kiss her, to the audience's delight. Tyra screams, "Lance Bass is straight!"

Ridiculous or no, it's a lively interview and one worth watching if only to see how a polite guest deals with a well-meaning but slightly unhinged host.
