Live Inauguration coverage at 365Gay starts this weekend

Here at AfterElton.com our focus is on entertainment and pop culture for gay and bisexual men, but we're not totally out of the loop on newfangled things like "politics" and "news", thanks to our sibling site, 365Gay.

And while we'll be busy over the weekend counting gay characters on cable and painstakingly analyzing Monday's As the World Turns, Zapruder-style ("Nuke ... and to the left"), our colleague Jennifer Vanasco and her team will be attending the kickoff events leading up to President-elect Barack Obama's Inauguration on Tuesday.

365Gay will be reporting from Sunday's opening (which of course will feature gay Episcopal Bishop Gene Robinson) and the assorted balls and events with blog posts, Twitter feeds, videos and more, so be sure to check out the site for all you need to know.

Plus, we have a few of our own peeps who are headed to the area as well and will have our own brand of coverage of the events here as well, so stay tuned.
