That's right, folks. We've every reason to believe that today's As the World Turns will feature the reunion of gay teens Luke and Noah and a perhaps slightly less groundbreaking (though no less thrilling) second kiss. We'll be here to give you the play-by-play of the event, but first here's a quick recap...

When we last left Nuke, they were making up for lost time and harsh words and all seemed rosy for Oakdale's Alpha Gay Teen Couple. But little did they know, Noah's dad Captain Pervy had shot Dusty and stuffed him in his trunk for having evidence that Pervs killed Noah's hooker mom. Luke's mom Lily, also a hooker (when she wants to be), was also briefly in danger but now seems out of harm's way. Meanwhile, jilted Maddie has forgiven both boys, but the dishes are piling up at the diner! There are some HUGE spoilers that just popped up over in the forums, but if you'd rather be surprised, pretend I didn't just say that.

2:59PM EDT Preview Time! Captain Pervy says, "I'd give anything not to see what I just did!" Either he's talking to Luke and Noah or he just came out of a screening of Good Luck Chuck.

And I just rewatched the kiss scene again (for academic reasons, purely) and after the awkward moment and Luke turns away, Noah grabs his hand and Luke gets this look in his eye and a bit of a smirk, like he knows what's coming and he's been waiting. Then they kiss. It's a big difference from the last kiss, in that this time they're both ready for it. Captain Pervy? Not so much.

2:52PM EDT: Dusty wakes up again next to his car and has a hallucination of Naoh's Hooker Mama trying to give him a hug in a low-cut gown. Don't go into the cleavage, Dusty! It's not your time!

Luke is amused that the Cap'n thinks Noah is back with Maddie again. Luke says that when his dad comes back Noah might be able to be normal and not hide anymore. As they speak there's a moment between them and Luke gets skittish, and Noah moves in for a kiss. They kiss ...

Just as Captain Pervy rounds the corner. Game on!

And woo-hoo!

2:48PM EDT: Oh. My. God. Have you seen this commercial for Clorox Wipes where the kids play "telephone" and tell each other secrets about how filthy they are? One kid actually whispers "I play with my poops in the toilet."

Thanks, Clorox. Can I have a disinfecting wipe for my brain now?

2:45PM EDT: Noah finds Luke at the studio and throws him an orange. Foreplay!

Noah tells Luke that his dad just left town and he's really, really happy. Luke has been smiling the entire episode, which is really nice to see. And he's apparently getting his Vitamin C.

2:40PM EDT: Jordana Brewster and Luke's Dad have coffee at Chez Snyder. TGWRMoHJOiaBW talks baby stuff with the other girl who's pregnant and says that she's not breaking up with Cole. Meanwhile, Limey approaches the other kids at the Ruth's Chris and asks them about Dusty and the sex tape and the dead prostitute. For some reason I have the feeling this is just another day at the office at Ruth's Chris.

Back at the junkyard set, Stinky Pete gives Dusty a shot to wake him up, and Dusty asks him to call the police.

Maddie is trying to explain things to Captain Pervy and Noah comes back just at the right moment, and Pervs tells Noah that he's leaving town for a bit. Noah is visibly thrilled. He's about to tell Pervs that he and Maddie are broken up and Maddie stops him, noting that they can let him believe what he wants to believe unless Noah is ready to tell him the whole truth. Noah comments that he hopes his dad's vacation is "a really really really long trip."

2:26PM EDT: There was just a commercial where a little girl grinds fresh pepper onto her stuffed animals' tea party. They're starting kids on the Olive Garden career path at such a young age these days...

Captain Pervy enters the diner, still grinning like the Cheshire Cat. He sits down with Noah and Maddie and Noah bolts, leaving his creepy dad alone with the already besieged girl whose heart he cruelly broke. Smooth, Noah!

Back at the junkyard set, the helpful homeless man gets out of Dusty that "Mayor" put him in the trunk before he passes out again, at which point the homeless guy robs him. You snooze you lose, Dusty!

2:14 PM EDT: ... It's just a random homeless dayplayer who lets Dusty out of the trunk. And you were expecting maybe Ed McMahon?

Back at Chez Snyder, Luke and Luke's Dad discuss Lily and Noah. Luke calls Captain Pervy "totally scary" and praises his mom for standing up for him and Noah. Luke's Dad asks how things are between him and Noah and Luke says that he thinks Noah is terrified of thinking of the two of them as more than friends.

Back at Johnny Rockets, Maddie tells Noah that she doesn't know that she's ready to pick up with him again as friends. She misses watching old movies with him but isn't ready. Noah hugs Maddie just as Captain Pervy pops out of a mailbox outside the front window and he sees them, and his face splits into a smile that would make a Jack-O-Lantern jealous. Atta Perv!

2:08PM EDT: The Girl Who Reminds Me of Haley Joel Osment in a Blonde Wig and her friend are having surrogate mom issues. Then a few people I swear I've never seen before argue at the Ruth's Chris Steakhouse. Then RoseAnn HecheKowski gets a ring of some sort and loves it from her fiance, who looks a bit like the Ice Truck Killer from Dexter. Vitalis Man and ... is that actually Jordana Brewster? ... chat in a hotel room.

AH! Noah is at the diner and Maddie comes in to meet him, and gives him back their rent deposit check, which she talked out of the landlord, and some DVDs. Noah says maybe they can watch them together and Maddie looks tired.

Meanwhile, Captain Pervy is at the police station talking to a very handsome detective in lime. Luke's Dad comes in and talks to Limey, who tells him that Dusty is missing. Cut to Dusty taking a nap in the trunk of Perv's abandoned car. He wakes up and someone flings open the trunk. Any guesses?
