Chad Phillips and Mikey Torres

This one evaded our gaydar until the last minute, but there is at least one (possibly more) gay chef competing on the new NBC restaurant reality competition The Chopping Block, premiering tonight.

Meet Chad and Mikey, two culinary school friends who share dyed fauxhawks and a passion for fine dining in the nation's capital. Mikey's myspace page says he's out and proud (and taken, sorry fellas!), and that he's got great taste in movies (Clue! Goonies! Hedwig!)

Marine vet Chad is a bit more mysterious (his profile is set to "private"), but considering he does a little drag in his intro video, I think it would be fairly safe to christen these two the show's Team Rainbow.

Please! Read my lips -- Gentlemen: NO ONE looks good in that ridiculous half/faux/WTF mohawk! NO ONE! Who needs gaydar when perfectly good looking gay men insist on making themselves look like idiots with that f-ing hair? I mean it! Just stop. This has been a Public Service Announcement.
