Messing with The Starter Wife: Mini returns as a USA series

Remember the miniseries The Starter Wife, starring Debra Messing from Will and Grace as a woman whose husband leaves her for a younger woman? Me neither, but I know some of our readers watched and enjoyed. The good news for them is that the story has reportedly been picked up as a 10-episode series for USA, with Messing back in her Emmy-nominated role as Molly.

No other casting news yet, but we wonder if Molly's BFF Rodney, played by Chris Diamantopoulos in the mini, will be back to gay things up a bit.

Have we mentioned that Diamantopoulos is married in real life to Becki Newton, who plays Amanda on Ugly Betty?

Yes?

And have we mentioned that they're so cute together that we could just squeeze them to death?
