Thanksgiving came a little early for some us last night when How I Met Your Mother ran an episode based around a pickup technique called "the naked man" that entailed getting out star Neil Patrick Harris out of his trademark Barney Stinson suits and stuck behind all manner of well-placed crotch-level obstacles.

I especially liked the "Superman," the "Captain Morgan" and the "Burt Reynolds" (as NPH demonstrates in the third-from-the-bottom pic above) poses... I just hope naive audience members don't believe that this first-date maneuver actually works two out of three times IRL.
I was surprised that Jason Segel (Marshall) didn't join in the naked fun, considering his full-frontal in "Forgetting Sarah Marshall."
