Wow. So we've got some of the gay-friendliest shows on television (Ugly Betty, Brothers & Sisters, Grey's Anatomy, Entourage, Desperate Housewives, The Daily Show, The Colbert Report) racking up the noms, and four out actors up for awards. I'm looking into it, but that may be a record -- and if not, it's still pretty damn cool.

The Emmys air live on September 16th on FOX.

    Congrats

They nominated Kathy Griffin after last year's award show?  Last year she flipped the middle figure and cursed (as a joke) when Extreme Makeover: Home Edition won.  She got a call from her lawyer the next day telling her that the emmy people weren't pleased.  I'm surprised they nominated her after that incident although she does deserve it.

I hope Project Runway wins.  It is the best reality competition on TV.

Congrats to all the gay and gay friendly nominees.
