Neil Patrick Harris knows a thing or two about suits, considering that his womanizing alter-ego on How I Met Your Mother spends just about every moment onscreen wearing one (or nothing at all). So NPH has channeled Barney Stinson for a GQ fashion spread on cotton suits for spring, with an emphasis on the "spring".
Check out some of NPH's gravity-defying shots below!

Wow! Nice!
As to be expected with NPH
dapper...
heh, very dapper :-)
He really.....
looks super gorgeous and charming.
Does this man ALWAYS look good?
He works the shirtless, furry chest thing; he worked the grimy T-shirt and jeans thing on the cover of "OUT" awhile back, now he's doing the natty businessman look. He's almost like a classic throwback to another era, a la George Clooney.
I love a man in a suit.
It's official:
NPH is awesome at everything he does. Who knew he was such an excellent model? Though of course we all knew he had it in him.
These shots are great (and the suits are nice, too).
NPH IS JUST SO AMAZING
If there is anyone who should be cloned, it should be him. I had the pleasure of going through my old VHS collection and once again there was a semi-cheesy but ultra-fabulous movie (Undercover Brother). Honey, this little comedy/action adventure/spoof of Black exploitation film was packed with stars and cameos. From the Late and Great James Brown to comic genius David Chappelle, Denise Richards (who is just beautiful, even on her exit of DWS, she was top shelf, Girlfriend is fierce) and even the 70's Loverman/Colt 45 spokeperson and Diana Ross's main man, 'Billy Dee-how-do-keep-that-hair-so-shiny-Williams and even little Chris Kattan, who I just think has a little sugar in his tank but is such a funny guy and as cute as he wants to be. However, the true comic standout was NPH. Omg, I truly forgot how funny he is because in this movie he truly stole the show. I know he keeps the laughs coming on 'How I Met...." but I just couldn't believe how funny he is. This film was a hoot and even better because he was in it and he truly held his own in this film.
I can't tell you how his entire look (the face, the body and his attire) is just so been fitting for his frame and just this undeniable swagger that he has, there isn't too many guys in his age bracket and I have to even go and say younger or older that can match his finesse. For a minute, I still had him being little Doogie, who was cute but had BABYFAT and little specs but the weigh melted off and he got contacts or eye surgery and boy Oh, Boy did he grow up to be a real fine man. Excuse Lord but GODDAMN that man is so fine because I was watching this movie and just watching how his clothes were up against his very toned body and it was pretty intense. He truly is THAT GUYand been for awhile now because that movie was going back to 2002.
Like the clothes he is wearing in this GQ photo shoot and he deserves his props for this one because for all the Zac Efron's and Justin Timberlakes and yes both of these sexy guys can get some loving as well but it seems that you can't mention them without thinking about Our Golden Boy, NPH. Is he the BIG GAY HOPE? I have to say that he got my vote. It seems his stylist and the tailors of those suits really know his body and I can't talk enough about his face because it just seems to get better with time. I'm not going to lie because for a minute I used to think that NPH's head was a bit big for his frame, kind of like Jessy Simpson because girlfriend is a total babe but has the entire 'Sea Monkey Thing' going on but I realized that is what makes her unique and hot. The same goes for NPH because he is a bit Heady but still the hottest guy around. He gives you a bit of every fantasy imaginable because he really can't look bad. His impeccable style just completely kills me. God, I truly love this man.
Somebody throw Curtis a towel
No, seriously, NPH is quite the phenom. His talents seem limitless and he has defied every rule Hollywood ever set in stone about not being able to have a career if you come out.
In a funny way Barney on HIMYM is a postmodern varient of the reckless bachelor character that Rock Hudson played opposite Doris Day. But Rock could never Cross the Rubicon and come out, as NPH has done so smashingly.
Somebody throw Curtis a towel
Somebody throw Curtis a towel
LOL!
Seriously Re NPH--
His success only serves to remind me of the kind of struggles people in the movement had with actors say 20 or so years ago, when we were trying to get gay actors to come out. "But I want to be known for my work. I don't want people to look at me and say 'Oh there's that gay actor!' " Well NPH proves how wrong that is. If you've got the talent it will always come first. I can assure you no one looks at NPH and the first thing that pops into their minds is "O it's that gay actor." It's the work they tink about -- Barney on HIMYM, his stage appearances in Cabaret, Rent, Assassins and Sweeney Todd, and perhaps best of all Dr. Horrible Sing-along Blog. The fact that he's out and pround just makes it all the more perfect.
