NewNowNext music dispatch: Feist "Moons" us, new Bloc Party, and more!

Her Feist-iness

Every Friday our friend Colin over at NewNowNext tips us off to what's hot in popular music.

Video of the Week: Feist - "My Moon My Man”
The consistently-lovely Feist manages to liven up an airport conveyor belt walkway with some fab choreography for her new The Reminder single.

Robin Thicke “Magic” Video
The very dreamy Mr. Thicke’s new single for his Something Else album has lots of retro, trumpet-y charm … but we’re kind of distracted, to be honest.

Bloc Party

Bloc Party “Mercury” Video
These Brits – led by queer singer Kele Okereke – have been all viral when it comes to their upcoming album: Internet viewers enjoyed this little tale of a bull-lobster Frankenstein running for president and destroying the world.

Lots more after the break!

Interview with Hannah Bailey from the Documentary American Teen
The award-winning documentary about high-school seniors in small-town Indiana deemed her “The Rebel,” and Hannah stopped by the LOGO offices to discuss the shooting process and why she’ll never do a sequel.

Chromeo

Chromeo Video: “Momma’s Boy”
P-Thugg and Dave 1 of the electronic duo bring us this “autobiographical Jew-boy ballad,” which features an animated David lack of game.

Danity Kane “Bad Girl” Video
Because of that totally brilliant band name, we all know DK loves comics – and this strip-inspired video featuring Missy Elliott has all the booty-shaking and compressed vocals you’d expect from our favorite girls.

Is Kele realy gay?

Theres definately rumours but hes always remained tight-lipped about his sexuality. I remember reading in an interview where he mentions famous bisexuals such as brian molko and david bowie but he didnt compare himself to them or identify himself as gay or bisexual. He does however discuss the the taboo caused by two straight boys experimenting compared to girls who are more open in admitting to 'getting it on'.
