NOM NOM NOM: The Colbert Coalition's deliciously stormy anti-gay marriage ad

"Oh God, the homo storm got me!!"

Last night the ever-brilliant Colbert Report took a stab at the recent NOM "Gathering Storm" anti-gay-marriage ad that we posted last week, to typically hilarious effect (starting with his pronunciation of NOM as "gnome"). He sums up life in Iowa, discusses NY Gov. David Paterson's same-sex marriage bill yesterday, and then unveils his own totally awesome "Gathering Storm" ad.

If you can't view Hulu, I've also embedded in another player, below.

Thanks, but...

If I can't view Hulu, I also can't view Comedy Central - they both block IPs outside the US!

I'm outside the US and not using a proxy or any software and the Comedy Central clip works for me. It did took a bit but there it is. I hope you can watch it.

Works fine for me

You cant watch Hulu outside the US, but anything from Comedy Central is watchable since its not geolocked. Give it a try.

actually

actually the Comedy Central stuff is geoblocked for Canadians.

Tells us to watch the clips on the Comedy Network website.

Think this is the link :

Thanks

I didn't realise it was just Canada that was blocked. Very frustrating.

I've enjoyed

so many parodies of this ad, most created in a bedroom somewhere, since the production values weren't terribly high, but this one shows what you can do with a budget for effects, actors aand abs.  Colbert is the gayest show on TV, you win Brian.

Brilliant!

That was perfect! Thanks for posting the clip :)
