NYC newsman George Weber brutally murdered, investigation prompts gay speculation

The body of veteran radio newsman George Weber was found in his Brooklyn home this weekend, the victim of several stab wounds to the chest and neck.

By all accounts a well-liked and well-regarded member of his neighborhood and the New York media scene, the murder was a shock to many, as is the suggestion by the New York Daily News that police are investigating whether the perpetrator might have been a "male date" brought home by Weber.
