Um ... if the end of the world is as dreamy as Matt Alber, I don't see what all the fuss is about. Bring on the Brylcreemed armageddon!

No, seriously? The above video is really sweet (t/y to atweaver for tipping us off to it!). We posted one of Alber's previous videos a while back but this one's got everything: gorgeous visuals, a sweeping, heartfelt song and a kickin' kiss at the end. Enjoy!

    He does sound like Rufus on this song, but he really doesn't on his other songs. I think it's the swooping nature of the song as much as his voice.

    I'm really digging this. the whole Mad Men vibe is smoking hot! anyone know where i can download a copy of this tried iTunes but no luck. Totally awesome song!

    listen to Rufus song,sometime i don't  understand  the word his sing and i need to

    That was three-plus of the best minutes of my life.  Love the song, love the video, love the whole thing.

    I have 2 copies of Chenowith's Christmas CD, so I was wondering what to exchange one for.  Now I know what to ask for when I go to Borders.

    I love this guy's voice. I can't find a copy on itunes, does anyone know where I can buy a copy. I don't want to download an illegal copy because I want to support our community, but seriously, I can't find a copy anywhere.

    it is the best gay video i have seen... although there are only a few gay videos out there (showing same sex affection unabashedly, and ofcourse, sung by gay men)..... very thankful for this and john barrowman's video (what about us)... i hope the other gay artists would be bold like matt and john, matt zarley (had i known) to show men making out unapologetically.

    What a beautiful lyrical song and after checking out some of his work as a choral teacher and all why he isn't with someone living a beautiful life raising kids I have no idea!

    sorry but this guy is not that impressive the video is far more interesting than any part of this song. personally the allure here is mostly the video and the simple nature and the quiet romance of his music. which is why anyone is really into this guy and why i bothered to google him. honestly i was hoping his other songs would be different as some of the comments i've read say unfortunately they're not. all the songs sound exactly the same except some have a little guitar or beat thrown in for good measure. alber is really just rufus wainwright in a different package and like him has simply drawn out his lyrics in EVERY verse in order to cover up the fact he's not that great of a singer. really there is no two lines he doesn't over sing drawing out as many words and syllables he can. listen to it again he's not that impressive. sorry... good try though a fan base is still fan base no?

    Geekluve, there are 20 comments above yours, all positive. How can you say Matt Alber is "not that great of a singer?" Is everyone else wrong and you are right? Have you heard/seen him sing on YouTube "Handel's The Messiah?" If he can't sing that great, why would the conductor of a major orchestra choose him to sing that very difficult solo? Good luck trying to convince us the sky is green. There hasn't been an out singer more deserving of the praise or acclaim.
