- Celebrated author Norman Mailer, who will likely go down as the most aggressive "Norman" of all time, died over the weekend at age 84. Towleroad has an entertaining roundup of his gay-related connections.
- Maori-produced LGBT show Takatapui wins New Zealand's 2007 Media Peace Award. Like I needed another reason to want to visit New Zealand.
- Fresh off supporting the WGA strike, David Hyde Pierce supports the Broadway stagehands strike in NYC. Not to trivialize these efforts in any way, but David, I'm holding a dishwashing strike in my apartment in about 30 minutes and it would mean the world to me if you could join the picket line. I have cookies!
- My new personal hero, Laura Berman, has a column in the Chicago Sun-Times about not treating your gay child like a piece of garbage. I know, right? The crazy stuff these quacks come up with!
