Project Runway's Jack on the Today Show

This is technically a little SPOILERY, so if you don't want to know anything about last night's Project Runway challenge, don't pay any mind to this item.

But if you don't mind or don't care, check this out: Jack Mackenroth, one of the show's 243 gay designers this season, won the challenge to create an on-air outfit for The Today Show's Tiki Barber. The episode itself was actually pretty awesome (come back tomorrow for our full recap, of course), and the cherry on top is that Barber actually wore the winning outfit this morning on the show and had Jack on to talk about it.

Folks who tuned in last night know that the episode focused a lot on Jack, including that he's been HIV-positive for 17 years and has never been healthier. He's also been very gracious and helpful to other designers, which is a rarity (he even carries Christian into the workroom every time they arrive) and doesn't seem to have a mean bone in his body. All that, AND he can bring the serious design chops?

Awesome.
