Here's a look at what's gayest on your tube today. No, that's not a euphemism.

Hot on the heels of her Sanjaya-Laura Dern double fister yesterday (and the chat with Dern was really sweet -- did you see Ellen tearing up?), everyone's favorite funny dancing lesbian welcomes Stevie Nicks to the show. And if you need to be told what's gay about that, not even a white-winged dove can help you.

Being that this is essentially a soap opera about personal trainers and their love lives (or Tricep Opera, as I like to call it), it's not reasonable to expect that gay trainer Doug Blasdell's illness and untimely death are going to be the focus of every episode -- especially since the events of the season are being told as the trainers learned of them (well, in reality TV time, anyway). Still, his passing is being handled very respectfully and with a great deal of sensitivity thus far. In tonight's episode a Project Runway vet will show up -- I'm thinking Nick, since he's doing a dress for one of the gym members?

Tonight's premiere episode of the gay-centric comedy show honestly doesn't feature the best skits that I've seen them preview -- but it's got a few gems and is worth checking out to get a look at the cast and a feel for what the show is about. Highlights include Political Project Runway (Michael Serrato's Michael Kors is hilarious) and the legitimately bizarre "Elaine Stritch trains as a Wal-Mart greeter" skit, which banks points for centering a gag around a figure who -- let's be honest -- is relatively obscure, by mainstream standards.
