Queerview television guide for April 9th

Not too many gay characters rattling around the schedule today, but a few gay-players resurface in guest spots on regular series. Check 'em out, eh?

The Lady in Question is Charles Busch (Sundance) 4:05PM EDT
If you only know Charles Busch as Nat, the murderous drag queen on Oz, you're missing out, big-time. This charming documentary charts the career of writer, performer, and iconoclast Busch from humble beginning on fringe stages (Vampire Lesbians of Sodom eventually became one of the longest-running off-Broadway plays in history) to the Great White Way (with The Tale of the Allergist's Wife).

CSI Miami (CBS) 10:00PM EDT
Fans of Ryan Carnes (Eating Out, Justin from Desperate Housewives) will be delighted to see his pretty puss featured in tonight's episode, which revolves around a scalping murder. No, I'm not talking overpriced Madonna tickets, I'm talking scalp-removed-from-head.

'Til Death Do Us Part (Court TV) 10:00PM EDT
I still find it funny that I'm recommending anything on Court TV, but they've hit paydirt with their new John Waters-hosted attack on matrimony, which is far more entertaining than it probably has any right to be. In tonight's ep, Dean Armstrong (Blake from Queer as Folk) stars in the true tale of a former football hero whose rocky relationship with his wife leads to murder. A usual, half of the fun is trying to guess who is going to off whom.
